| BB Automacao
Inc. provides the newest technologies of sensors, measuring systems and
digital signal processing methods and algorithms to its partners. The following technologies are
available: |
| |
|
1. Sensors |
| |
-
Highly sensitive
Magnetoelastic Sensors for measurements of vibration, shock, dynamic strain and force,
and acceleration etc. These sensors can be applied to vibration and shock measurement/monitoring in machine
building, automobile and electronic engineering, ground motion measurement as geophone, dynamic strain/stress
and force measurement in monitoring bridges and buildings etc.
-
Inductive eddy current sensors for noncontact measurements of vibration, motion, position/displacement in machines,
instruments and motors and nano-positioning etc. The optimized position sensors work nearby the resonance frequency and have a very high sensitivity to
the distance between sensor and target. Accurate measurements (less than 50nm) are realizable using the developed Eddy Current Position Sensors.
-
High sensitive
Capacitive Position Sensors for measurements of small motion, displacement/position, vibration,
acceleration and nano-positioning etc. Motion detectors can detect less than 10nm displacements with good stability and high speed. Capacitive sensors can be
integrated in accelerometer ICs with a sensitivity of 1.5g.

2. Measurement Technology
|
| |
-
Self-Calibrated Measuring Systems for precise measurements of electrical, geometric and mechanical quantities.
A self-calibrated measuring method is based on self-calibration with the use of internal reference elements and quantities. After the self-calibration
the measuring errors are automatically corrected by digital signal processing algorithms, so that the measuring accuracy of the resulted measuring system
can be improved with very low cost. These measuring methods can be used in RF-Measurements.
-
Measuring and Testing Systems for calibrating displacement/position sensors/transducers. These systems are based on
self-compensation measuring methods and are cost favorable compared with other measuring systems for instance laser interferometer. They can be applied
to linearity and deviation measurements for the characterization of length, displacement and position sensors/transducers.
-
Self-Calibrated and Self-Corrected Impedance Measuring Systems for precise measurements of electrical components (R, L, C) and analog circuits and networks. These systems can also
be used for impedance measurements of dielectrical materials under high electrical field intensities.
|
| |
|
3. Signal Processing |
| |
-
Novel Adaptive Filtering Technique for noise suppression in measuring and communication systems.
This technique can be applied to complete noise suppression of periodical signals and non-periodical transient signals, even if the signal
spectra are mixed with noise spectra. Introduction courses on this technique could be provided for industrial partners.
-
Self-Correction Algorithms for precise processing of asynchronous sampling signals with applications to digital and telecommunication systems.
Typical examples are
Precise Fourier Analysis of periodic signals sampled asynchronously and
Precise Parameter Determination of damped oscillation signals etc. They can be applied to other digital signal processing algorithms where signal reconstruction is realizable.
